Where the name comes from

Every Frappie starts with a FRAP.

You know the moment. The house is quiet, and then your dog explodes into laps of the living room: ears back, tail tucked, skidding round the corners, for no reason anyone can name.

Behaviour experts call it a FRAP, short for Frenetic Random Activity Period. Everyone else calls it the zoomies.

At our kennel the biggest FRAPs of the day happen right after treat time. So when we started making treats of our own, the name more or less picked itself.

Frappies began as the treats we made for our own kennel. Our dogs still taste every batch first.
