About this treat
Pumpkin is about nine-tenths water, so a whole basket of it dries down to a small, light pack of crisps. That's why the pack is 50 g, and why it's worth it.
The crisps snap easily, which makes them good for small mouths and older teeth. Pumpkin is also a source of natural fibre.

How we make it
- Deep-orange pumpkin, peeled and deseeded.
- Cut into thin slices.
- Steamed for just two or three minutes.
- About 10 hours of drying with the vents wide open.
- Packed only when every crisp snaps clean.
