About this treat
Egg shells are almost pure calcium carbonate. We clean them, dry them thoroughly and grind them to a fine powder you can sprinkle over food.
Most useful for dogs on home-cooked meals, which are often short of calcium. Dogs on a complete commercial food usually don't need extra.
How we make it
- Egg shells are washed and the inner membrane rinsed clean.
- Heated until completely dry and safe.
- Ground to a fine powder.
- Sieved, checked and sealed.
How much to give

Too much calcium can harm growing puppies, especially large breeds. Ask your vet before adding calcium to any diet.
