About this treat
Inspired by the murukulu on every Indian festival plate. We turn boneless chicken into a smooth paste and press it into spirals with the same hand press used for murukulu at home.
Nothing else goes in: no flour, no starch, no binders. The spirals dry until they snap, so they're easy to break and share out.
How we make it
- Boneless chicken, ground to a smooth paste.
- Pressed into spirals with a traditional murukulu press.
- Cooked through.
- Dried until crisp.
