About this treat
Hearts are a muscle meat, so they are lean and chewy rather than rich like liver. They make a good everyday training treat.
They are also one of the few treats here that cats get excited about.
How we make it
- Fresh hearts are trimmed of fat and halved.
- Blanched until cooked through.
- Slow-dried for 10–12 hours.
- Packed once firm and dry inside.
