About this treat
Ripe bananas dried slowly until they turn soft and leathery. They're the gentlest chew in the range, which makes them a good first treat for puppies and an easy one for seniors.
Banana is naturally sweet, so these are a small-portion treat.
The only thing that touches the banana besides the dryer is a quick lemon dip, which keeps the colour.
How we make it
- Fully ripe bananas, peeled.
- Cut into rounds and strips.
- A five-minute dip in diluted lemon juice. No blanching.
- About 12 hours of slow drying.
- Packed when pliable and never sticky.
